Video Magic Productions is a small multimedia company located in the beautiful prairie land of Marshall, Minnesota. We provide cinematography and still photography for weddings as well as commercial video production and photography.
We have a firm belief that stories are the most powerful form of communication. Stories create memories. Stories trigger memories. Stories are passed down through generations and are shared with loved ones. Sadly, memories and stories of your important life events can fade with the passing of time. It is our mission to capture your event in an artful manner to preserve your memories to be shared as a story with friends and family for years to come.
Cinematography is more than just video recording. It employs photographic techniques and shares the same shallow depth of field look as you find with cinematic motion pictures. This makes cinematography the best option for artfully capturing and preserving the beauty of your wedding day.
Video Magic Productions captures your wedding day in full 1080p High Definition video. We use three broadcast quality HD cameras and multiple stabilizing devices. Extra microphones are used to record the vows and other important parts of the day with exceptional clarity. All packages come with a highlight video which is included on the discs as well as posted online to share with your family and friends. All of our packages include one interactive Blu-Ray disc and three interactive DVD discs.
Ceremony Only:
This package includes one half-hour pre-ceremony coverage, guests arriving, complete ceremony coverage with three HD cameras and leaving to the reception.
Ceremony & Reception:
This package includes one-half hour pre-ceremony coverage, guests arriving, complete ceremony coverage with three HD cameras and leaving to the reception. At the reception, coverage will continue through the first themed dances.
Preparation, Ceremony & Reception:
The day starts with the preparation of the bride and groom, hair & makeup, first glances, church preparation, photos, then moves on to guests arriving, complete ceremony coverage with three HD cameras and departure to the reception. Coverage will continue at the reception to capture all the festivities through the first hour of the dance.

We also create DVD photo slideshows that are set to the music of your choice. This is a popular item to play at wedding receptions and graduation receptions.

Photography is also a great storytelling tool. Photos freeze bits and pieces of your day, but when put together they tell a complete story. We focus on weddings, family sessions and senior sessions but would love to work with you to capture any event or product.
We offer three packages for wedding coverage and all packages come with a complimentary engagement session.
Package One: Pre-ceremony and ceremony coverage through departure to the reception. This includes the standard wedding photos as well as creative and artistic photos of the couple.
Package Two: Package One plus coverage continuing at the reception through the first themed dances.
Package Three: Coverage starts with bride and groom preparation and continues all day through the first hour of the dance.

To preserve the memories you already have captured, we provide tape to DVD conversion. We are able to convert VHS, VHS-C, 8-mm tape, Digital 8-mm tape and MiniDV.
Conversion Cost:
1 to 5 tapes: $15+tax per tape
6 to 10 tapes: $12+tax per tape
10+ tapes: $10+tax per tape
